MONROE, La.听鈥撎�麻花影院 Campus Activities Board (CAB) is inviting the public to kick off the holiday season with the annual tree lighting ceremony on Monday,听December听1,听at 5:30 p.m.听听

The Holidays at听麻花影院听festivities听will take place at Scott Plaza,听adjacent to听the 麻花影院 Library. The event will be hosted by the newly crowned Miss 麻花影院听Katherine McCullars and听Mr. 麻花影院听Braden Tucker.听麻花影院听President听Dr. Carrie Castille听will听offer remarks and听light the tree.听

鈥淭he tree lighting ceremony is a cherished tradition we share with the community,鈥� said Sidney Jones, Coordinator of Student Activities and CAB Advisor. 鈥淚t serves as a beacon of unity, tradition, and peace,听and is an opportunity to pause and reflect on the end of another year together and the new year to come.鈥澨�听

Attendees can also听donate听to the Warhawks听for听Hope听Christmas Project drive. All gifts听and donations听collected听will stay local, directly听benefiting听clients served by The Center for Children & Families鈥� annual Christmas Project. Learn more about the project听here.听听

The event is free and open to the public. No registration is needed.听
